ABOUT DERONDA WILLIAMS
Chief Financial Officer
DeRonda Williams is IntraLink Global's Chief Financial Officer, but we prefer the more expansive term business-guru to describe her position and approach. She oversees ILG’s financial management, human resources and business process management with acumen and a touch of wit to get us through those unexpected challenges that can potentially undermine projects. She effectively handles the unexpected and mitigates risk so projects stay on track, on time and on budget. Her interpersonal and communication skills give her the ability to build lasting and trusting relationships with vendors and clients. And she has a keen eye for detail --which is why we have her managing the books.
Ultimately, DeRonda's astute oversight and cool makes the difference between project success and failure—skills she honed in more than 20 years of business experience. Before joining ILG, she held positions in a broad cross-section of industries, including manufacturing, telecommunications, publishing, Internet start-ups, healthcare and education reform. DeRonda holds a M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a concentration in finance, and a B.S. Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University.
On weekends, you will find DeRonda at dog shows with her daughter Ryan, putting McKinley, their Portuguese Water Dog, through her paces. She’s a dead-ringer for Bo, the First Dog, but unlike the Obamas, the Williams family plans to breed her--a testament to DeRonda’s always-engaged business mind and propensity to make commerce enjoyable. What you don’t know is one small but significant fact given DeRonda’s boundless energy and love for a good challenge: the Williams family already has three dogs.
